Inspection & Testing (2391)

Course Overview

The City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification covers both Initial Verification (testing new installations before energising) and Periodic Inspection (assessing the condition of existing installations and producing EICRs).

Over five days you'll combine classroom theory with extensive hands-on practice using industry-standard test instruments, so you walk into the practical assessment confident and prepared.

Who It's For

• Qualified electricians ready to certify their own work
• Electricians aiming for approved electrician / qualified supervisor status
• Anyone carrying out (or planning to carry out) EICRs and condition reporting
• Electricians joining competent person schemes (NICEIC, NAPIT, etc.)

• The full sequence of dead and live testing
• Initial verification of new installations and issuing EICs
