Level 3 Experienced Worker Route (NVQ)

Course Overview

The Level 3 Experienced Worker route is designed for electricians who learned the trade on the job and need formal recognition of their skills. Instead of classroom retraining, you build a portfolio of evidence from your real work, supported by on-site assessment from our trade-experienced assessors.

On completion you hold a full City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation – the core qualification for JIB grading and ECS Gold Card eligibility (alongside the current 18th Edition and the AM2 assessment).

Who It's For

• Electricians with several years' on-site experience but no formal Level 3 qualification
• Electrician's mates and improvers working at electrician level
• Anyone who wants the ECS Gold Card without retraining from scratch
